Code of Conduct

Columbia Gorge Outlets strives to provide an enjoyable and safe shopping environment for our guests and employees. Columbia Gorge Outlets, including the parking garage, all parking lots, sidewalks, roadways, and anything inside the property line, is private property. The Code of Conduct is in effect at all times.

For the safety and enjoyment of all guests, tenants, and staff, Columbia Gorge Outlets kindly requests your cooperation and courtesy by following the directions of Columbia Gorge Outlets Management and Security at all times. Guests who violate these rules may be asked to leave the Property. If they refuse to leave Property, they may be prosecuted for criminal trespassing.

  • Parking is only permitted in designated areas. Overnight parking and camping are not allowed.
  • Marked yellow zones are for immediate loading and unloading only – no parking. Vehicles are not allowed to be left unattended unless prior approval has been received from Columbia Gorge Outlets Management or Security.
  • The speed limit at Columbia Gorge Outlets is 10 mph. The speed limit inside the parking garage is 5 mph.
  • All traffic control devices must be followed while visiting Columbia Gorge Outlets.
  • Excessive speed, engine acceleration, engine noise, burnouts, and/or donuts are not allowed on Property.
  • Parking lots and parking garages are for the use of shopping center guests only. Using Columbia Gorge Outlets as a park and ride facility, or for ride sharing purposes, is not allowed.
  • The use of obscene or threatening language, gestures, ethnic slurs, or vulgar speech is strictly prohibited.
  • Behavior that is disorderly, disruptive, or endangers others is prohibited.
  • Defacing, damaging, or destroying any property is prohibited.
  • Trash must be thrown in the proper trash receptacles. Illegal dumping and rummaging through or removing items from trash receptacles is prohibited.
  • No loitering, congregating, blocking access, or interfering with the movement of any other guest.
  • Possession of any open cans, containers, bottles, or any other receptacles containing alcoholic beverages, except inside designated areas and businesses, is prohibited.
  • Staging any form of public event or protest, soliciting, or distributing information of any kind without the approval of Columbia Gorge Outlets Management or security is prohibited.
  • Skating, skateboarding, bicycling, Heelys, scooters, and any other form of personal/recreational transportation is prohibited on sidewalks and common areas, unless otherwise covered under ADA.
  • Possession of any item that could be used as a weapon, including but not limited to, firearms, explosives, fireworks, clubs/sticks, chemical dispensing devices, knives with blades over 2 inches in length, or any other object(s) that may be used in any way to inflict bodily injury on another person or property is strictly prohibited.
  • Dogs must be kept on a leash and in your physical control at all times and must not be left unattended.
  • Guests are responsible for removing and properly disposing of pet waste.
  • Do not leave bags or other personal items unattended. Any unattended items are subject to search and removal.
  • Breath deep. This is a green property and 100% smoke free. The use of any tobacco or smoking products, including chewing tobacco, electronic cigarettes (e-cigarettes), and vaping is prohibited on Property.
  • While onsite at Columbia Gorge Outlets shopping center, I hereby acknowledge that a photo and/or video may be taken of me. Any image of me or my likeness may be used, without limitations in print publications, online publications, website and on social media platforms. I hereby waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the photographs and/or videos taken of me and my likeness.
  • Sitting, standing and/or climbing on artwork, planters and plantings, railings, walkways, or other areas not intended for guest use is prohibited. Designated seating areas have been provided for our guest’s convenience.
  • Engaging in any acts defined by Federal, State, or Local Law constituting criminal offenses is prohibited.

Guests are strongly encouraged to report any behavior that is not in compliance with Columbia Gorge Outlets Code of Conduct to the Security Staff. If it is an emergency, please call 911.
